Workshops

Art experiences for expression, connection, and care.

Soft Systems Lab workshops offer hands-on creative experiences that engage and enliven, bringing people into movement, imagination, relationship, and the present moment.

Parents’ reflections on children’s movement workshop at TarraWarra Museum of Art

“My shy daughter came out of her shell, and I was so proud that she interacted. Gülsen’s questions made them think deeper than they ever have when looking at pieces of art. Her ideas encouraged the children to push outside their comfort zones, be brave, and move in new ways.”

Pitch Face Choir Band Camp, Dance as Play

“Our singers were blown away by the range of feelings they experienced, by how they felt afterwards, and by your immense talent and skill. What an absolute treat it was. Thank you again for holding us so beautifully in that space - it was really something special for all of us.”

James D’Alton, REVELLING, Cardinia Shire Council

“Being part of a group guided by the extraordinary Gulsen was nothing short of transformative. She is a choreographer whose art reached beyond dance. For someone like me the thought of moving, as I truly feel, especially in the presence of others, would ordinarily be daunting. Yet in Gulsen’s presence, all fear dissolves. She fosters an environment of pure freedom, acceptance, gentile encouragement, where self-expression feels as natural as breathing.”,
